Infinityglass: An Hourglass Novel by Myra McEntire: Review and Giveaway!

The stakes have risen even higher in this third book in the Hourglass series.

The Hourglass is a secret organization focused on the study of manipulating time, and its members — many of them teenagers -have uncanny abilities to make time work for them in mysterious ways. Inherent in these powers is a responsibility to take great care, because altering one small moment can have devastating consequences for the past, present, and future. But some time travelers are not exactly honorable, and sometimes unsavory deals must be struck to maintain order.

With the Infinityglass (central to understanding and harnessing the time gene) at large, the hunt is on to find it before someone else does.

But the Hourglass has an advantage. Lily, who has the ability to locate anything lost, has determined that the Infinityglass isn't an object. It's a person. And the Hourglass must find him or her first. But where do you start searching for the very key to time when every second could be the last?

I've been following this series from the very beginning.  I was super excited to see an email from Egmont regarding this release and review opportunity and I jumped right on it.

This is one of those books that pull you in.  Personally, I think it's the characters that make these books.  The concept is awesome too but it wouldn't be much without all those very real and identifiable characters.  The people who make up Hourglass are so tight and loyal to each other.  I love their sense of family.  They don't confine themselves either.  They are willing to let in new members with open arms.  That happens in this book and it's one of the things I like best.

One of the things I love about this book is the pacing.  I never felt like I was stuck in a spot while the story dragged nor did I feel like I was in a fury of action where it never let up.  Things just flow so well and before I knew it the book was over.  I love that kind of writing.

I won't be saying too much more about the book lest I give something away.  The blurb is sort of vague regarding what happens in this book, right?  I guess I'll keep it that way too.  But I will say that I enjoyed it a lot.

Content:  Swearing (mostly the B word), sexual innuendo and an implied sex scene with no description.
